Chapters Bookstore July Book Selection Image Illustration

オンライン書店「Chapters書店」の、7月選書のイメージイラストを担当しました。
7月の選書テーマは「タイムスリップ世界旅行」ということで、それぞれの小説の舞台となる4都市（ロンドン・ベルリン・パリ・ニューヨーク）のイラストマップを制作。各都市の名所や名物を描きました。

I was in charge of image illustrations for the July book selection for the online bookstore “Chapters Bookstore.
The theme of the July book selection was “Time Slip World Travel,” and I created illustration maps of the four cities (London, Berlin, Paris, and New York) where each novel is set. I drew the famous landmarks and specialties of each city.

I was in charge of illustrating 25 cut-out rune card designs and the inside pages of the book “The Most Easy-to-Understand First Rune Divination” (written by Kiriya Takahashi, published by Nihonbungeisha). I enjoyed drawing the mystical world of runes.

古代遺跡の柱や装飾にとても惹かれます。
柱や階段、アーチ、レリーフなどをイメージした数字のイラストを制作しました。
オリジナルのイラスト制作は久しぶりだったのであれこれと悩みましたが、最終的に好きな感じに仕上がったので嬉しいです！

I am very attracted to the pillars and decorations of ancient ruins. I created illustrations of figures inspired by pillars, stairs, arches, and reliefs. It had been a long time since I created an original illustration, so I had a lot of trouble with this and that, but I’m glad it ended up looking the way I liked it!

I have been in charge of the cover of the in-house booklet “SQUARE CONCIERGE” of Fancl Ginza Square in Ginza for a year. The fall issue is distributed from 9/16~11/16. Please stop by Fancl Ginza Square when you visit Ginza. I was happy to paint dried flowers, picture frames, and other things I like. I’m curious about the Forest Cafe on the 8th floor !

We produced an illustration map of Fuji Reien that introduces the shooting points of the music video for “Thoughts are Forever”.
