「赤ずきん」
ペーパークラフトのイラストを描きました。全体のラフを平面で提出した後にモデル設定担当の方から展開図に指定いただいた形に描き直し、工程の多いイラスト制作でしたが立体物になると思うとワクワクして楽しかったです。美大で1〜2年次にプロダクトデザインを少し学んだので立体は想像力と計算力が必要だと知っています。なのでモデル設定の方はすごい、と尊敬しながら描きました。あまり多くの注文を受けずに自由に描かせていただきましたが手足はなるべく体に沿わせるようにとの指示がありました。タッチの面ではオオカミを怖くないようにコミカルに描いていたのですが鹿やリスに合わせてリアルな方が良いとのリクエストがありリアル寄りにしました。実は花などの小さなディテールに思いの外苦労しました。細かくリアルに描いても全く見栄えがせず、デフォルメすることで存在感を持たせました。

Paper craft “Little Red Riding Hood”:
I drew a papercraft illustration. After submitting the overall rough sketch on a flat surface, the person in charge of model design redrawn it in the shape specified by the development plan. I learned a little bit about product design in my first or second year at an art university, so I know that three-dimensional work requires imagination and computational power. That’s why I drew it while respecting the model settings. I didn’t receive too many orders, so I was allowed to draw freely, but I was instructed to keep the limbs as close to the body as possible. In terms of touch, I drew the wolf comically so that it wouldn’t be scary, but there was a request that it should be more realistic to match the deer and squirrel, so I made it more realistic. Actually, I had a lot of trouble with small details such as flowers. Even if I drew it realistically, it didn’t look good at all, so I gave it a presence by deforming it.
