「きよせ西部エリア　子どもの居場所MAP」

リーフレットのデザインとイラストを担当させていただきました。

子どもたちそれぞれの居場所を

いろんな図形で形づくりました。

弟ができて、たのしいな。

ママはしばらく「ニュウイン」ってところに行っていて、

久しぶりにパパといっしょに帰ってきたら、弟を連れてきたんだ。

弟はきゃっきゃとよく笑う。

よくわかんない言葉を話すけど、たいてい、泣いているか、笑っているか、どっちかだ。

僕が面倒を見ているときは、笑っていることが多いかな。

楽しかったらいいんだけれど。

パパは張り切って、いろんなオモチャを買ってきたけど、

まだちょっと、よくわかんないみたいで、不思議そうな顔をしている。

仕方がないから、僕のとっておきの帽子をあげたんだ。

ブルーの、野球帽。

弟はぽかんとした顔で、しばらくそれを見つめていたと思ったら、

悪戯っぽい表情で、ちょっと引っ張ったり、つねったりしてから、

ポーンと、部屋の隅っこにやっちゃって、

それでまた、ケタケタと楽しそうに、笑っている。

まあ、いいか。

楽しかったら、それでいい。

いっぱい笑って、たくさん食べて、よく寝て、

僕より大きくなるんだぞ。

そしたら、散歩に連れてってね。

朝と、夕方。

2回だぞ。

My little brother was born, and that made me really happy.

Mom went to a place called “Nyuuin” for a while.

When she finally came home with Dad, she brought my brother with her.

My brother laughs a lot, giggling happily.

He says words I do not understand yet, but most of the time, he is either crying or laughing.

When I am taking care of him, he seems to laugh more.

I hope that means he is having fun.

Dad was so excited that he bought all kinds of toys,

but my brother still does not really understand them.

He just looks at them with a puzzled face.

So I gave him my special hat instead.

A blue baseball cap. My favorite one.

He stared at it for a while with a blank expression,

then suddenly made a mischievous face.

He pulled it, pinched it a little,

and then tossed it across the room.

After that, he burst out laughing again.

Well, that is fine.

As long as he is having fun.

Laugh a lot.

Eat plenty.

Sleep well.

Grow bigger than me someday.

And when you do,

take me for a walk.

Twice a day.

In the morning, and in the evening.

こちらの挿絵は、琵琶湖大橋を車から覗いて見ている柴犬のジローです。
今回、優しい雰囲気を出したかった為、 挿絵は全て白縁にしました。

嬉しいことに、このたび重版されたそうです。

冬の朝、初日の出の光の中を馬とともに駆ける人物の風景を描きました。
見る人によって、男性にも女性にも見えるように表現しています。
